Aberdeen based marine subsea cable specialist, Cable Solutions Worldwide has been awarded a $500K order for the supply of two complete sets of Top Drive Service Loops for two drillships operating in Brazil and Angola.
John Rickman (General Manager) commented: "Cable Solutions Worldwide are delighted to have been awarded this order, it identifies our global capability in project management, delivering this type of product on time and within budget through our exclusive agreement with Amercable, Nexans. The scope of work consisted of (2 Sets) of four Power Loops, Instrument Loops, Auxiliary Loops and Umbilical Fluid Loops. All of the Loops were delivered on a six week lead time offering the client a substantial cost saving and extended field life on their Top Drive Service Loops."
